FILICE, Peter - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Peter Filice, who departed from this world on April 12, 2024.
Dad was not only a pillar of strength and wisdom to his family but also a guiding light to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
His spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created.
Peter was born in Portapiana, Cosenza and met his soulmate, Amelia in transit to Canada and shared more 68 years of beautiful marriage.
Together, they will continue to watch over us with the same love and care that defined their lives. Dad exemplified unwavering love, kindness, and compassion throughout his life's journey.
His dedication to his family was unparalleled, and his legacy of love and warmth will forever resonate in our hearts.
Peter is survived by his loving children, Giovanni (Daniela), Maria (Paul, deceased), and Frank (Maria).
He was cherished by his grandchildren, Peter (Bridget), Alessandra, Larissa, Vanessa, Amelia and Stefano.
Visitations at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass celebration to honour and remember Peter will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at St. Bernard de Clairvaux Catholic Church, located at 1789 Lawrence Avenue West, Toronto. Following the Funeral Mass, there will be an Entombment at Glendale Funeral Home & Cemetery, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, Ontario.
