MANSFIELD, Rachel May (REID)   -  Peacefully, on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket Ontario, in her 83rd year. 

She is predeceased by her parents Colonel Douglas Muir Reid and Olive Ashley Biggs Reid, and her sisters Hazel and Beryl.  Rachel is survived by her loving husband Norman Frederick Mansfield. 

Rachel came to Canada from the U.K. in 1958. Rachel was Vice President of McGraw Hill Ryerson Publishing Company for many years and a devoted member of the Anglican church, most recently at St Paul’s in Uxbridge and at St James’s the Apostle in Sharon Ontario.

Auntie Rachel will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews in the U.K. and across Canada, and especially by her furry friends-her pussies. 

A Private Funeral Service will be on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment at Goodwood Cemetery.

The service will be live-streamed, a link will be made available the day of the service; please check back for the link so you may attend the service virtually.
