MARTIN, Richard 'Rick' Clive - Passed away peacefully at The Village at University Gates, Waterloo on Tuesday August 29, 2017.
Survived by his caring and devoted wife Margaret (nee Rempel) for 48 years, loving father of Craig and Eric Martin and cherished grandfather of Nyla and Emerald, Rick will be fondly remembered by his brothers Stuart (Merlyn) Martin and Douglas (Marion) Martin, sister-in-law Dorothy Martin and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Melvin and Eileen (nee Snider) Martin, Harold Martin (1989) and Isabel Martin (1937).
Rick was the owner of J & R Collision until he retired. He always held a great love for the outdoors, especially spending time on his boat on Georgian Bay. He grew up at Erb Street Mennonite Church and continued his membership there.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Rick with his family during visitation at Erb Street Mennonite Church, 131 Erb St., Waterloo on Friday September 1, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Erb Street Mennonite Church on Saturday September 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church hall. A private family interment will be held at Erb Street Mennonite Cemetery, Waterloo.
