DeCoste BobDeCOSTE, Robert Joseph 'Bob' - Born September 4, 1936 in Antigonish, NS, passed peacefully on August 29, 2017 with his family by his side.

Survived by his loving wife of 57 years Joyce (Mattie), son Dwayne, cherished grandsons Kyle (Cass Lloyd) and Tyler of Georgetown and Daughter Sandra of Toronto.

He will be greatly missed by his sisters Betty (Richard) Boudreau, Joan (Ron) MacDonald, Denise DeCoste and brother Kevin (Cathy) DeCoste all of Nova Scotia. Bob was predeceased by his parents Rita and Clarence DeCoste of East Tracadie, NS.

Upon retiring from Ford Motor Co., in Bramalea in 1997, Bob looked forward to wintering with Joyce at their Florida home. As well as being a former member of Halton Helping Hands, The Georgetown Optimist Club and RCL Branch 350, Bob enjoyed gourmet cooking, golfing, travelling and helping others.

Our heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Tabor Manor in St. Catharines for their loving care and support.

A Memorial Mass is to be held on Saturday, September 16th at St. Julia Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Ave., St. Catharines at 11am. A private interment for family will follow.

Family flowers only please. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines.
