GOODWIN, Robert “Eric” - September 11, 1953 - May 30, 2022
Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 68.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Julia Cote (October 27, 2021).
Loving father of Owen Goodwin and Sandy Trovato and stepfather of Mark, Brenda and Bonnie (Charles).
Cherished grandfather of Nikita, Korrina, Cory, Nicole and Julianna, great-grandfather of Liam and step-papa of six.
Dear brother of Larry (Corine), Lynda and Diane.
Eric will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends.
He retired from General Motors after a lifetime of dedicated service.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 12-1 p.m. at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Zion Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
