Rayner RonaldRAYNER, Ronald Charles - (January 26, 1933 - December 31, 2020) - Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love, on Thursday, December 31, 2020.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Marlene. Adored father of Chris and partner Debrah of Toronto, and Cindy and husband Greg Secord of Salem, South Carolina.

Cherished Papa of Olivia, Spencer, Emily, Sam and Alexander. Loving father-in-law to Sue.

Ron was the Head Professional at Summit Golf and Country Club from 1972 until his retirement in 2000. Prior to this, he was Head Professional at Royal Mayfair Golf Club (1964-1970) and St. Catharines Golf and Country Club (1958-1963).

Ron was named Ontario Golf Professional of the Year in 1978 and became Canada’s fifth Master Professional.

Arrangements entrusted with Thompson funeral home, Aurora. A private family service and interment will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ron’s memory to Hill House Hospice (hillhousehospice.com) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
