It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tony Sabat, who passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, at the age of 60. Surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, he passed peacefully.

Beloved husband of Boushra, devoted father of Justin and Chris. Cherished brother of Steve, loving uncle to Jordan, Jessica, and Olivia, and brother-in-law to Mary.

Tony was a hardworking and selfless man, always putting others before himself. He was a kind and caring soul, deeply cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love and devotion to his family knew no bounds—he was always there for them, going above and beyond to show his unwavering support. He will be profoundly missed by all who were touched by his generosity and warmth.

Friends may call at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby. The Rite of Committal will follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery.

Tony’s kindness, love, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
