E. Patricia Scott

Pat Scott passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the age of 99 years, 8 months, and 6 days. Born in Elgin County, she was the only child of David Pelkey and Barbara (née Cox). Later, through a blended family, she was loved by her stepfather Purcell Willson and her brothers Ronald Cox, Bartley Willson, and Hilliard Willson, along with their descendants.

Pat’s life was filled with love and family. With her first husband, Ronald Ryland, she had two children, Brenda and George (Dawn). Later, she married Thomas Scott, who brought his son, John (Cathy), into her life. These unions led to seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandsons, each of whom she cherished dearly.

Pat found joy in her friendships and activities at the Kiwanis Seniors’ Community Centre, where she loved playing euchre, cribbage, and bingo. At home, she often worked on jigsaw puzzles or enjoyed reading books.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will be held at a later date at Shedden Cemetery in Shedden, Ontario.

She will be deeply missed, and her memory will be cherished by her family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Westview Funeral Chapel, London, Ontario.
