KRUGER, Sean - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we formally announce the passing of our dearly beloved Sean on September 28, 2021, in Toronto, Canada, after a brave battle with an aggressive brain tumour, diagnosed in late October 2019.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, to the late Cynthia and Hans Kruger, he is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, son Keagan, daughters Michal, Cady and Naledi and grandchildren Maddy and Nathan.
He is also survived by his brother Kyle, sister-in-law Debbie, nephew Dane, and was predeceased by his nephew Byron.
Not to forget the many very special and loving in-laws, Uncle Jan, Aunt Laetitia, friends, and ex-EY colleagues that Sean leaves behind.
Not a day goes by when he is not deeply missed by his loving family for all the joy, the laughter, the sunshine, and the love that filled their lives whenever he was around.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1 pm EDT on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at St. Clement’s Church, 70 St. Clements Ave, Toronto, ON, M4R 1H2. Due to COVID restrictions, in-person attendance is limited.
In lieu of flowers, it was Sean’s wish that voluntary donations be made to either of the following charities: Bridgepoint Active Healthcare (Palliative Care) or The McMaster University Research Program’s ‘Sean Kruger Memorial Research Fund’.
