Donald Omar Shearer
April 5, 1952 - October 7, 2024

Donald Omar Shearer passed away peacefully at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston on Monday, October 7, 2024, after a brief illness, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of 44 years to Karen (née Rawlison), Donald was a devoted father to Len Shearer and Holly Packard (Shane). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren: Landon, Lawrence, Lexi, Sadie, and Lily. Donald was a cherished brother to Barbara Ivany (Ron), Bev Shearer (Hazel), Murray Shearer (Sue), and Margaret Sutton (Bill). He was also a loving son-in-law to Lorraine Gravelle and the late Reg Gravelle.

Donald is predeceased by his parents, Omar and June Shearer. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service in the Chapel of Tompkins Funeral Home on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the UHKF Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
