It is with profound grief that we announce the sudden demise of Gerald “Gerry” Walter Sherwood at London, Ontario on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of Kamlesh Sherwood for 28 years. Adored father of Matthew (Annanie), Andrew, Steven (Marguerite), and Rohit Kumar Bhatty (Marlen). Dear grandfather of Roarke, Dayton, Darby, Connor, Julia, Thomas, George, Peter and Charles Sherwood, and Rachel, Nichole and Johnathan Bhatty. Loving brother of Kathy Butler and Florence Sherwood. Predeceased by parents Gerald and Josephine Sherwood, brothers Leonard and Michael Sherwood, and sisters Margaret Sherwood and Patricia Daamen.

Gerry lived a simple but perfectionist life as a dedicated family man. He was a man rich of heart and full of love and touched everyone who knew him. He will be missed by all.

Join us in honouring Gerry’s life and celebrating the remarkable person that he was on Tuesday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, starting with visitation, service and reception, followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Drive, London.
