BIRTCH, Shirley (Simpson) - Peacefully entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Charles St. Site on Wednesday August 30th, 2017. Shirley (Simpson) Birtch of Brockville aged 91 years.
Beloved wife of Hubert Birtch. Loving mother of Jeffrey and his wife Wendy Birtch of Brockville. Cherished grandmother of Susan Smith (Matt) of England, Laurie Church (Derek) of Ottawa and Curtis Birtch (Lauren) of Lyn; and great grandmother of William, Michael, Riley and Maxine.
Dear sister-in-law of Gwen Simpson and Roger Birtch (Barb). Predeceased by parents George and Nora (McNamara) Simpson and brother Phillip Simpson. Also missed by many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday September 2nd at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
In memory of Shirley, donations to the Lung Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
