SMITH, Olivine GLENNA Smith -

Smith, Glenna (Drake), passed away peacefully at Lakeview Manor in her 87th year on Sunday, July 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Glenna was born August 17, 1937, in Bolsover, Ontario to Fred and Effie Drake.

She was a cherished and beloved mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and dear friend.

Glenna was the loving wife of Ivan Smith (predeceased).

Glenna leaves behind her five dearly loved children Randy, Doug (Maureen predeceased), Shelley (Yancy) Ambing, Brad, and Kelley (Neil) Parliament.

Treasured grandma to Kyra (Adam), Kaylie (Kyle), Brett (Deanna), Cory (Kaitlyn), Shawna, Travis (Jocelyn), Mitchell (Christyna), Joshua (Jessica), Ashley (Rob), Justin, Alicia (Lucas), Brittany (Matt), Brendan (Karyn) and 16 great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy.

Glenna will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters Faye (Charlie) Lloyd, Dale (Bonnie) Drake, Dean (Alma predeceased), June (Daryl) Beddows, Donna (Jim) Scott , sister in law Pam (Keith predeceased) and many nieces and nephews. Glenna was predeceased by her brothers George(Helen), Harvey, Keith and sister-in-law Freida Haney (Wib), brother-in-laws Stan and Orville (Isobel).

Mom cherished her family and treasured every moment spent with them. She will be deeply missed.

Our sincerest thanks to the staff of Lake View Manor for their love and kindness to our dear mother. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Glenna's life on Saturday August 10th at the Beacan Presbyterian Church Hall from 2-4P.M. A private family graveside service will be held at Stone Church Cemetery, Beaverton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
