George "Papa" Somerville, age 96, of Oakville, Ontario passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday, September 20, 2024.
Beloved husband of Cecilia. Loving father of the late Wayne (Barbara) and Debbie Coull-Cicchini (Silvio). Adoring Papa to Katie Coull (Patrick), Joshua Cicchini (Louise) and the late Kenny Coull and great-Papa to Kylie Coull, Billy and Parker Bell. Dear brother of the late Martin Somerville.
A special thank-you the the staff at Sunrise of Oakville for their loving care, compassion and support and to the amazing doctors and nurses at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. W. Oshawa on Wednesday September 25 from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm followed by the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:30 pm.
Interment to follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
