SOLTYS, Stanley - Passed peacefully, with his son, Martin, by his side, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Brant Centre in Burlington, ON.
Stan is survived by his son, Martin (Kareena) Soltys; ex-partner and friend, Sylvia Gmaz; his best friends, Paul Latremouille, Fiona Evans and their children, Derek, Rhiannon and Siobhan; his sisters, Caroline (predeceased by Jimmie) Gmaz and their son, Jimmie Jr. (JJ) Gmaz, Veronica (Froggy) Gmaz, Liz (Brian) Holt and their children, Tyler, Dee and Steph; great-niece, Arianna; great-nephew, Kaeden; brother-in-law, Zelko Gmaz; nephew, Michael; brother-in-law, Johnny Gmaz (Michelle); niece, Laura.
Special thanks to the amazing Dr. Chris Ragonetti, Dr. Anderson and Dr. Fox for the great care that they provided to Stanley, and a very special thank you to the staff at the Brant Centre for the care that they provided over the last nine years.
Stanley was an amazing individual who loved fishing and the Blue Jays. He was able to make friends anywhere he went because of his easy-going personality.
Living with multiple system atrophy, he enjoyed every moment of his life to fullest.
As per Stanley's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will take place on July 10, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Wedgewood Community Centre, located at 1401 Walkers Line, Burlington, ON.
