TAYLOR, Anthony "Tony" Rideau  -
November 9, 1942 - July 17, 2024

It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our beloved Tony, who passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at the age of 81.

Devoted husband to Barbara Taylor (nee Jones), whom he has been lovingly married to for 55 years.

Cherished father to Karen (Mike) Smith of Deseronto and Kimberley Taylor of Burlington. Always remembered by his sister, Jennifer Taylor.

Dearly remembered by his extended family and friends across Canada. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Florence Taylor (nee Reynolds).

Tony may be gone from this world, however, he lives on in the stories and memories he has left with all those he touched during his lifetime. As per Tony's wishes, and those of his family, a private cremation will be taking place.

Visitation at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line,  Burlington, on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 12-1 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on the same day at 1 p.m. followed by a reception.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation or Community Living Burlington would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
