HOWLEY, Thomas 'Tom' Augustine - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tom on December 16, 2020 in Toronto Ontario.
Tom was born November 1, 1929 in St. John’s NL to James and Mary Howley. He attended St. Bonn’s and received his BComm from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Loving husband of 66 years of Mary (Murphy).
Dad to Eleanor McIntyre, Jim (Helen Scutt),Peggy Smart (Rob), Sheila Marner (Paul), Mary Louise Hall (Jeff) and Greg (Dawn Olsen).
Pop to Kevin McIntyre (Maria Halavrezos), Dylan McIntyre (Katie Heindl), Stephen McIntyre, Bruce Smart, Scott Smart, Heather Smart (Keil Wretham), Alanna Marner (Phillip Rees), Liza Marner (Alex Casale), Colin Hall, Grace Hall, Matt Wallis and Lyndsay Wallis (Steve Kulach).
Predeceased by his siblings James, David, Mary, Elizabeth (Walsh) and Michael.
Lifetime friend of Nix Wadden of Ottawa. Survived by many nieces and nephews and friends in Newfoundland and Ontario.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will follow at a later date.
