WELTON, Elinor Audrey   -  1933 - 2022   In loving memory of Elinor, who passed away at home, on Saturday, March 21, 2022, surrounded by family.

Cherished Wife of Russell, adored Mom of Douglas (Colleen) and Janis (Peter).

MADDEN, Nancy Catherine (nee WARREN)   -  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Madden, on May 21, 2022.

She passed peacefully, surrounded by family.

Nancy was a cancer survivor and remained determined and courageous to the end.

LEOPOLD, Hillel   -  Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, May 20, 2022.

WODLINGER KRONICK, Harrianne  -   Harrianne Breslin Wodlinger Kronick, peacefully in her 102nd year, on Friday, May 20, 2022.

Cherished daughter of the late Samuel and Jessie Breslin.

 Loving wife of the late David Aaron Wodlinger, and the late Moses B. Kronick.

Tsai Dr Kin SonTSAI, Dr. Kin-Son (Ken)   -  Passed away suddenly, due to an aggressive type of cancer, at Sunnybrook Hospital (Toronto), on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the age of 87.

Kin-Son was predeceased by his parents, oldest sister A-Sig Chien and older brother Shen-Chuan Tsai.

He was the beloved husband of Colleen Chen.

He will always be cherished and loved by his son Ken, daughter-in-law Beth, grandson Ethan, living sister Kin-Yu Wu in Taiwan and many members of his extended family.

Kin-Son was born on April 21, 1935 in Chiayi, Taiwan.

He moved to Canada in 1966, to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Guelph University.

WYBYWANEZ, Peter   - It is with profound sadness that the family of Peter Wybywanez announces his passing on May 20, 2022, at the age of 98 years.

Born and raised in Ukraine, resident of Toronto.

DAM, Jørgen (John)    -  February 22, 1939 to May 20, 2022

After a short illness, Jørgen passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife Inge; daughters Amanda (Joe) and Rikke (Keith); and granddaughters Clare and Emma.

Jørgen was born into a farming family in Denmark.

Baines RedinaBAINES, Redina   -  May 3, 1922 - May 20, 2022

Passed peacefully in her apartment. Surrounded by her photo albums, books, music and memorabilia of a life well-lived.

A life filled with extraordinary moments.

Family and friends were able to have a celebration of her life on her 100th birthday, just weeks before her passing.

Redina was predeceased by her husband Lloyd and is fondly remembered by her son David (Donna); grandchildren: Aprile (James), Andrew (Andrea) and Sarah (Nick); and great-grandchildren: Cassidy, Kaitlyn, Kiera, Lucas and Sophia.

Redina was a lifelong learner and would visit the Manchester Public Library to study art and history (Nelson was a hero).

RENNIE, Garry David   -  It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Garry.

He passed away on May 20, 2022, in his 61st year, at home with his loving, four-legged Mya.

Garry was predeceased by his parents, Alfred "Chuck" and Jean Rennie and leaves behind his sister Sandra, brother-in-law Dave, and his niece Hailey.

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side.

SHEPHERD, George Andrew   - Peacefully, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, at the age of 84.

Beloved husband to Betty, who understood and loved both the strong and gentle sides of him.

Very proud father of Craig (Nadia) and Best Grandfather Ever! to Raegan and Hazel.

Deacon AlanDEACON, Alan James   - Royal Navy Veteran WWII Passed away at his home in Mississauga, ON, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, in his 97th year.

The eldest son of the late Alice and Harold Deacon of Leicester, England.

Predeceased by his wife Mavis and brother Derek.

Alan was born in 1925 and was raised and educated in Leicester, where he worked as an apprentice draftsman while attending Leicester College of Art and Technology.

In 1943, he volunteered for the Royal Navy Pilot Training, Basic Training in England, and then shipped to Canada for training by the RCAF.

Alan was awarded his wings in a ceremony at the RCAF Kingston in 1943.

AALTO, Kalervo "Kal"   -   Kal died on May 18, 2022, of glioblastoma; he was 66.

Sisters Helena, Ritva, and Benita, nieces Ellis and Chloe, and nephew Dean will miss his quick wit, generosity, and ready laugh.

Kal was a loyal member of Leafs Nation, serious Scrabble player, and lifelong rock fan, with five decades of concert ticket stubs to prove it.

CANTOR, Ernie   -  Passed away suddenly. Beloved son of the late Sara and Marcel Cantor.

Dear brother and brother-in-law of Terri and Fred, and Paul and Therese.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Community section of Pardes Chaim Cemetery, Vaughan

Tyrrell HughTYRRELL, Hugh Aldric   -   Peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of Teresa for 62 years.

Loving father of Jacqueline, Cheryl and Julie.

Adored grandpa to Tyrice, Gigi, Zoë and Maxwell.

BROWN, Marion (nee NORTON)   -  It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the peaceful passing of Marion Brown of Fayetteville, PA, on May 18, 2022, at the age of 85.

She will be lovingly remembered by sister Donna Nesbitt, many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Lawrence GregoryLAWRENCE, Gregory William  -   It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Gregory on May 18, 2022, at age 56.

He was very proud of his beloved children and led a full life, with a lifelong passion for learning and a deep desire to spread positivity.

He attained many designations including his CMA, CFA, CPA and, more recently, an FEA (Family Enterprise Advisor). With a career in Capital Markets and Wealth Management in Toronto, he developed strong bonds and many diverse friendships with reciprocal support networks.

He was a Board Director at Reconnect Community Health Services and a mentor and coach to anyone in need. Gregory loved snowboarding, karate, and scuba diving, taking these pursuits on with gusto.

Hein MarionHEIN, Marion Gertrude (nee RICHARDSON)   -  Peacefully and quietly passed away at Barnswallow Place Care Community (Elmira) on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the age of 98.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, George (2001).

Loving mother of Wayne (Sheryl), and cherished grandmother of Erich.

A classic Leo, Marion was a tiny but fierce lioness who devoted her life to her family, friends, and faith.

Peck JohnPECK, John Gilbert  -  With great sadness, we announce the passing of John Gilbert Peck on May 17, 2022 in Toronto at 89 years old.

John will be forever cherished by his son Gregory (Patrizia) and his two grandchildren.

John will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Dawn passed peacefully in her home on May 17, 2022 while comforted by her family.

Dawn will be deeply missed by her partner of 11 years, Chuck Skitch; and her daughter, Bailey Forfar; as well as Chuck's children: Jason (Michelle), and Nicole (Johnny), and grandchildren; Jayden, P.J., Elliot, and Charlie.

Foran VincentFORAN, Vincent   -   It is with great sadness we announce the death of Vincent Foran, who passed away peacefully in Trillium Hospital on May 16, 2022.

Predeceased by his parents; sister, Elizabeth; and brothers, Michael and John.

 Mourned and sadly missed by his wife, Mary (nee Grogan); daughter, Maureen; and son-in-law, Ian; son, Michael; and daughter-in-law, Tasha; son, Terence; and daughter-in-law, Andrea; daughter, Anne Marie; and son-in-law, Des.

"Poppa" was loved by grandchildren, Rachel, Shannon, Patricia, Maya, Cassidy, Kieran, Brayden and Dylan, along with the extended Foran and Grogan families and friends. 

Vincent was born in Glascloune, Doonbeg Co. Clare, Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1964.

After marrying Mary, the family moved to Etobicoke, where they enjoyed a wonderful life together for 56 years. Vincent never forgot his Irish roots.

Hudson BarbaraHUDSON, Barbara   -   A loving wife and devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Worked for many years at the Toronto District School Board after a start in her early years at Chapel's Music store.

She enjoyed family time with the Nowickis and Hudsons, and quiet time at the lake.

Barbara, beloved wife of the late Alan Hudson.

Loving and caring sister to the late Eddie Bretta (Diane), the late Alec Nowicki (the late Eileen), the late Stanley Nowicki (the late Florence), the late Margaret Bennet and Victor Nowicki (Mary) and all their children.

KITAZAKI, Dianne  - Born January 11, 1930 Died May 16, 2022

Our loving mother passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2022.

Private service and interment was held.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank (May 2015).

Cayley JulienneCAYLEY, Julienne Marie   -  With heavy hearts, we announce that Julienne Marie Cayley went home to be with the Lord, a day before her 79th birthday, on Monday, May 16th.

Julienne Cayley, formerly Weinert, maiden name Vachon, was born on May 17, 1943.

She was an incredible mother to four: David, Suzanne, Gerry, and Laura; an amazing grandma to six: Alex, Anthony, Luke, Stephanie, Jessica and Rose; and great-grandma or GG to two: Abel and Adrian.

First and foremost, she was a woman of God, who left a tremendous legacy of service.

She worked at the CNE for 21 years, followed by a very fulfilling retirement, doing outreach, singing and praying with seniors, ministry at Empringham, Pathways, and taught Sunday school at Morningstar (member for 23 years), and Flemingdon Park Church.
