Dear father of Tracey (Gerald) and Shawn (Rebecca).

Loving grandfather of Cherelle, Tye-Chelle, Sheldon, Sara (Ken), Breanna, Keira and Logan.

Great-grandfather to Elijah. Dear brother to Joan (Ovide), and the late Paul (Kate). Predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Joan Palmer. Will be fondly remembered by special friends, Morris, Richard and George. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time.

Michael Carter was born on July 4, 1966 and passed away on May 31, 2020.

Gillanders LindaGILLANDERS, Linda Catherine   -  1949 - 2020  Born at Women's College Hospital, Toronto, May 3, 1949, died at River Glen Haven Nursing Home, May 31, 2020.

With constant love and devotion by her parents, Bill and Gert Gillanders, both deceased, Linda overcame many lifelong challenges to find joy and laughter in being around and petting animals, attending special gatherings, getting her nails painted, listening to Shania Twain and Rita MacNeil country music and going for a drive or walk outdoors.

She was gentle, kind-hearted and inspiring, was an example of fortitude and tenacity and will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her sisters, Carolyn and Valerie, brothers-in-law, Harvey and Lester and nephews, Paul, Brian and Christopher.

McDEVITT, Halier Alexandra "Sandy"   -  Passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, on Sunday, May 31, 2020, in her 82nd year.

Sandy was the beloved wife of Robert McDevitt for 61 years.

Knox SusanneKNOX, Susanne (Downard) - It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our amazing mother, sister, aunt and grandma, Susanne Knox.

At age 62, Sue passed away on May 30, 2020 at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital after battling against cardiac disease.

Born in 1957, she was the second youngest of eight children born to George and Dorrian (Gane) Downard. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, June Hartley and James Downard.

She is survived by her son Adam (Amanda) and grandchildren Maverick and Lillyanne, as well as her daughter Ashley.

She was 60 years old.

Aarne was born in Camp Crame, Quezon City, Philippines on November 4, 1959. She studied at St. Scholastica’s Academy then transferred to Pola Central School, where she graduated a Valedictorian (giving her valedictory address under the mango tree).

Elizabeth was an Analog-Digital Computer Operator on the Avro Arrow, a master teacher, an exemplary elementary school principal.

Moore Rev Dr PeterMOORE, Rev. Dr. Peter C.   -  The Rev. Dr. Peter C. Moore, 83, peacefully entered into eternal life May 30, 2020 in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Born in Scarsdale, NY, Peter was an innovative leader, mentor, preacher and author for more than 50 years.

He currently served as the director of the Anglican Leadership Institute since 2016, training leaders in the world-wide Anglican Church in servant leadership, all the while serving as a scholar in residence at St. Michael's Church, in Charleston, SC.

Peter served as director of the Council for Religion in Independent Schools in New York City and, at that time, started FOCUS (Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools) in 1962.

She was the middle sister to late Sam (late Hisa) Baba, late Tatsuo "Tats" (Harue) Baba, Hideo (Mattie) Baba, Osamu "Tom" (Jean) Baba, late Kimiyo (late Masaru) Inouye, late Teruko Baba, late George (Marie) Baba, Harold Baba, Margurete (Sam) Tanaka, Gerald (Beverley) Baba, sister-in-law to Reiko Baba and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerry, her cherished son Chris and her sister Mary Ferguson.

A resident of the Beach for most of her life, Lori was involved in the local community, church and an advocate for her son and his special needs.
