MANSO, Mella - Died, at her home, on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 77 years of age.
Her loss was sudden and we honour sharing this wonderful lady with the world.
Mella was born on May 22, 1943 in Warsaw, Poland to Jacob Kowalkowski and Olga Betke.
She worked as a clerk in the Payroll Department at Michael Garron Hospital (Toronto East General Hospital) for 30 years.

DI CAPO, Vito - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Vito on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the age of 90.
He is survived by his beloved wife Letizia of 53 years.
Very proud father to his sons Alfonso and Pasquale [Jennifer] and his daughter Lora [Vaios Petsis].
Nonno to his four cherished grandchildren: Madison, Matthew, Jake and Mackenzie.

SOBOLEWSKI, Stanislaw 'Stan' - Passed away on December 17, 2020.
Born on August 27, 1927 in Sulejow, Poland, to Franciszek (Frank) Sobolewski and Katarzyna Szostak, Stan was the youngest of three siblings - Zofia (Patina) and Josephina (Przyborowska).
At the age of 10, Stan and his family were transported by cattle car to Siberia where they suffered through the ravages of WWII in a forced labour camp.
Following Amnesty, they fled south to Uzbekistan where at 15 Stan joined the Polish Army Cadets spending time in Uzbekistan, Persia (now Iran), Iraq, Palestine, Egypt and Italy.

SMITH, Glenda Blance (nee TONKS) - Sadly, on Thursday, December 17, 2020, Glenda Blanche Smith (nee Tonks) passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, ON, at the age of 85, after a brief illness.
Heartfelt thanks to palliative care nurse Diana. Glenda's pride and joy were her two daughters Laurie Simpson and Karen Lombardi and much-loved son-in-law Bert Lombardi.
She had great love and pride for her three grandson's and their partners McKenzie Simpson (wife Amanda), Philip Lombardi (fiancé Tonii) and Christopher (wife Natasha).
Glenda lived a long and abundant life with her predeceased husband George W. Smith of 42 years.

Hyacinth aka (Aunt Hya, Hya, Po and Lucy) was a loving wife to Dr. Arthur George Lee, mother to Janet, Frances, Paula, Wayne, Brian, Stephanie (d) and Maurice (d), grandmother to Samantha, Kevin, Sean, Jason, Mindy, Tien, Cameron, Nicholas, and Ami, and great grandmother to Jonah, Olivia, Cruz, Remi, Levi, Sarah, and Jake.

STEWART, Shirley Bernice - We celebrate the life of Shirley Stewart, our loving and devoted wife, mom, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to all whose lives she touched.
She passed away while sleeping peacefully at home, on December 17, 2020. She had a long and full life of 93 years and will be missed dearly.
Shirl was an extraordinary person.
She radiated love and compassion to everyone, and people gravitated to her because of it.

JOHNSON, Luverre 'Lou' Jr - Born on December 30, 1940, Chatham, Ontario, Luverre (Lou) went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on December 17, 2020, just two weeks shy of his 80th birthday.
Lou left a legacy of love, kindness and encouragement, impacting the lives of children through both his involvement with the Sunday school bus ministry and as a school caretaker where he was loved by students and staff alike.
He is remembered by his smile, happy spirit, and encouraging words.

MONK, Lorraine - It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Lorraine Monk.
She died peacefully on December 17, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario, with her husband Daniel at her side.
She leaves behind her 4 children, Leslie Ann, John, David and Karyn and 8 grandchildren, Mark, Natasha, Tino, Adrian, Genevieve, Logan, Carson, Adelaide and sister June and husband Daniel.
She was predeceased by her sister Shirley and brother Grant.
Her parents were Edwin and Eileen Spurrell. Lorraine Monk was an Officer in the Order of Canada, was born and grew up in Montreal where she attended McGill University.

RITCHIE, Madeleine Lauzon - 1927 - 2020 Sadly, the journey of life has to come to an end for Madeleine who passed away at the age of 93 on December 17 last in Boucherville, QC.
Predeceased by her son Eric (1965-1983). She leaves behind her best friend and spouse of 63 years Robert, her loving children Michael (Danielle Vertefeuille), Gail (Gaétan Poirier), Andrew (Laurence Lecomte), and wonderful grandchildren Dérick, Francis, Patrick, Melissa, Catherine, Émilie and Alexis.
Born and raised in Montréal, QC. She brought up her family in Beloeil, QC and then moved on with her spouse to spend the last 35 years in Thornhill, ON. Her life was fulfilled with travel.

KIM, Jina Ji Youn - (March 31, 1993 – December 16, 2020)
Jina Ji Youn Kim, 27, was a loving daughter, sister, niece and a friend to many. She carried an intense passion for social justice, mental health, and helping those in need despite struggling with her own mental and physical health for the past few years. She cared deeply for the well being of the people around her.
She was born in Seoul, South Korea on March 31, 1993. Since she was a child, she was a curious, focused and ambitious individual. She never settled for what was, but looked to see how things can be improved. She always excelled in school and social settings, surrounded by friends and teachers alike. She spent much of her energy motivating, encouraging and accepting others to be their own unique selves.

ROSS, Herman (Tzvi) - It is with deep love and sadness that Herman’s family announces his passing on December 16, 2020 in his 88th year.
Herman, Dad, Zaida Tzvi will be lovingly remembered by his bride of 67 years Shirley, daughters Cynthia, Rhonda, and Lisa; his grandchildren Robin, Amanda (Myles), Dylan, Max, and Eli, and his great grandson Jackson; brothers Lou and Milton Ross (Jackie) and brother in law Gerald Lapkin (Nicole), niece Deborah Lapkin.
Herman was a successful men’s clothing retailer with a passion for motorcycling which continued throughout his final years.

ADDORISIO, Rocco - Rocco Addorisio suddenly and quietly passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 80 years old in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, after a long, fruitful and labourious life.
He leaves behind his loving wife Rocca, eldest son Frank, middle daughter Antonella and youngest daughter Josie, and many other close family members and friends, who will all miss him dearly and terribly.
Born April 1, 1940 in Monteleone Di Puglia, Italy, he left home in September 1959 at the age of 19 to find a new life in Toronto, Ontario, a young man with a strong work ethic, a healthy appetite for food, and a love of cars.
He spoke fondly of working at the old Watts Restaurant in the then newly built Eglinton Square, proudly of having helped built parts of Toronto's roadways when working construction, and of working over 25 years with Centennial College as part of their operations staff.

GALE, David Richard - After a courageous ongoing battle, David Richard Gale passed away on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 at Etobicoke General Hospital at the age of 73.
Beloved husband to Rosa for 44 years. Loving father to Ryan and his wife Mariel, Caitlin and her fiancé Brian. Dear grandfather to Siena and Savannah.
David will be fondly remembered by his twin sister Dianne as well as his loving brothers and sisters Bobby, Ron, Larry, Joe, Kathy, Sandy, Roy and Dena. He was predeceased by his siblings Ross, Frank, Bill and Lynda, and will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews.
