MILLSON, Nancy Ruth - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 28, 2024, in her 96th year, surrounded by her family at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton.
Beloved wife of the late Jerry William Millson (1990).
Dear mother of the late Ruth Ellen Geertsma (Oeds), James Edward Millson (Gladys), and Patricia Jane Roy (Wilfred).
Grandmother of Murray (Cheryl), Tom (Karen), Nancy (Luke), Heather (Aviviere), Patricia (Bud), Ben (Claire), Elizabeth (Steve), Morgan (Darryl), Laura (Sean), Angela (Eric), Charles (Jing), Jerry (Michelle) and their families.

CROWSTON, Wallace Bruce Stuart Crowston - Management scholar and university administrator, much-loved husband, father, grandfather and friend, has died.
He passed peacefully on February 28, 2024, surrounded by his family, following a short illness at St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver.

Born of immigrant Ukrainian parents and raised in Old Toronto.
Attended Ogden Public School and Central Technical School.
Had various occupations - first as a textile technician at the Ontario Research Foundation, then as an accounting clerk at Maclean Hunter and lastly in information services at the Toronto Children's Aid Society.
Unfortunately, she could never get the hang of modern technology so could never use a computer, etc.

CARLSON, Stephanie -
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Stephanie Ahearn Carlson on February 28, 2024.
She died quietly and peacefully in her home in Qualicum Beach, BC.
She was surrounded by the love of her daughters and dear friends, who are all so grateful to have spent time with her before she left.
She is survived by her 'darling girlies,' Vanessa, Jessie (Ben Yardley) and Nancy (Will Jones); and her adored grandchildren, Lily Watters, Lucy, Lila and Townes Yardley, Cooper and Woodrow Jones; as well as her partner of several happy decades, Doug Gordon.

A former Toronto resident, and a graduate of York University and the University of Toronto, Ernesta was a devoted mother to Dr. Chanzo O. Greenidge; mother-in-law of Vanessa R. Chaperlin; and a loving grandmother to Ana Marie Greenidge Ménard, Acacia L. Greenidge, and Maya R. Greenidge.

FOOTE, Peter - It hurts our collective hearts to announce the sudden passing of a much-loved friend, cousin, brother, son, nephew and uncle — Peter Foote — on February 24, 2024, just 3 weeks after retiring from the City of Toronto, at age 64.
Peter died peacefully, in his sleep in Mexico, doing what he loved — vacationing with friends after spending the evening hosting a dinner party.
A tall, handsome man with a winsome smile and booming voice, Peter personified presence and pizazz.

At age 86, Betty passed peacefully, with family by her side after a valiant battle with cancer.
She expressed anticipation of again seeing her husband, Robert (Bob) and son, Paul, in eternal life.
Remembered by her brother, Edward Campbell; sons, Robert (wife Sherie), Ronald (wife Elizabeth), and Russell; and adopted daughters, Sandra, Cheryl, Deberah, and Nancy; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kenneth Alexander Mitchell, beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, son, and dear friend, at his home in Studio City, California.
Born in North York to Diane and David Mitchell, Ken was widely known as an actor in many films and tv shows.
He's portrayed an Olympic hockey hopeful, an apocalypse survivor, an astronaut, a superhero's dad, and four unique Star Trek characters.

BRAMHILL, Judith Elaine Bramhill - Passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Toronto on February 22, 2024, at the age of 79.
Judy was born on February 6, 1945 to Ivan and Thelma Bramhill and raised on the home farm on Lot 21, Concession 3 in Minto Township.
She attended SS#2 Minto and later Norwell District Secondary School in Palmerston.
Judy left for Toronto working as a barber from 1966 to 1970. She attended St. Joseph's School of Nursing – graduating class of 1972.

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Brock H. Morrison, at the age of 88, on February 22, 2024, at his home in Toronto, where he had resided most of his life.
Brock was born on November 4, 1935, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Elsie (Woodman) Morrison and Thomas Sandall Morrison Sr.
His early education began at the Wolseley Elementary School in Winnipeg and continued in Montreal and Toronto as his family moved.

SISLEY, Margaret (Peggy) Danville - In the comfort of her home, Peggy quietly slipped away on February 21, 2024.
She is pre-deceased by her husband and dearest companion, Don.
Peggy is survived by her devoted family Peter (Sheila), Hugh (Katy), Ann (Beatty); cherished grandchildren Andrew (Megan), Ashleigh (Simon) and Meagan (Strachan), Todd (Samantha), Paige (Michael), Crew, Jillian, Stephanie and Philip, and Robin (Carter), Bay (Michael) and Jamie (Victor); and ten great-grandchildren to date.

Gib was a passionate educator who was an advocate for human rights, social justice and environmental action.

HUGHES, Kenneth Roy - Our dear Kenneth Roy Hughes, age 94, has sailed on to a peaceful rest.
His beloved wife of 63 years, Eileen, and daughters, Bronwen and Vanessa were at his side to see him off on his journey, second only to the epic voyage Ken and Eileen took in their sailboat, Ithaca, which Ken built and sailed to Florida.
He is also loved by his sons-in-law, Egidio and Murray, his nephews and niece by his sister, Brenda, Patti, Craig and wife, Suzy, and Lee, Marina, and our extended families in Canada and England.

It is with great sadness that the family share the message that Joe, age 35, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024, with the help of MAID and a caring doctor and nurse.
At Joe's request he died in his own home. Joe journeyed for almost two years against all odds with pancreatic cancer.
Born April 20, 1988, in Toronto, Joe leaves behind his wife of six years, Michelle LeHane; his parents, Rev. Brenda McKay (Bob McKay) and Robert M. Nesbitt.

Mac was a beloved professor in the University of Toronto Pharmacology Department, where he taught, conducted research and worked closely with graduate students for nearly 50 years.

SOLOWAY, Susan Soloway - A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on February 19, 2024, in Toronto, at the age of 77.
Susan is survived by her devoted husband, John, her cherished children, Sarah and Jake (Lisa), her caring brother, Lawrence (Joanne), and her six adoring grandchildren.
Susan was born in 1946 to Hyman and Ruth Soloway and raised in the McKellar Park area of Ottawa, where she attended Broadview P.S. and Nepean H.S.
She was both very attractive and academically successful.

Steve Bedford passed away on February 18, 2024, at Toronto Western Hospital, from multiple health issues related to schizophrenia.
He was the son of Paul Bedford and the late Eugenia Bedford.
Steve graduated from the University of Toronto in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics, and enjoyed working on, and solving complex mathematical problems.

Born on March 3, 1953, in Montreal to Joseph and Susan Vesely, Nick moved to Toronto to begin his career where he met Heidi and began their life of 37 years together.
Nick was a kind and gentle soul, loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly by his family and many friends.
