RITZA, Lawrence Barry 'Larry' (Big Lars) - Born August 25, 1940 (Renfrew, Ontario) - September 9, 2020
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the sudden passing of Lawrence Barry Ritza.
Larry will be lovingly remembered by his children Catherine & Todd, grandchildren, Tori, Jordyn, Alexander & Nicholas and great granddaughter Aliyah.
Big Lars will also be mourned by the many family members and friends whoose paths he crossed during his wonderful 80 years.
Larry (and his beloved late wife Norma), a resident of Oak Ridges for almost 4 decades appreciated the importance of the community dedicating his time to both the local minor hockey and ball associations.

BRANDT, Tadeusz 'Ted' - Holocaust Survivor
Peacefully, at the age of 102, Tadeusz (Ted) Brandt passed away of natural causes on September 9, 2020.
He was a survivor of the Holocaust and a shining light to us all. Loving husband of the late Anne Price Z’’L. Devoted father and father-in-law of Cynthia (Cindy) and Eli of Toronto, and Elaine. Incredible and proud Zaida of his grandchildren Michael and Jennifer, Shauna, Jonathan and Eliana, Brian and Tamara, Yoel and Dina and Uri and his great grandchildren Sarah, Naomi, Noah, Zacki, and Nora.

COLETTA, Anna -1931-2020 - On September 9, 2020, the world lost one of the best.
Anna was a strong, fearless, kind and loving woman. She was a true partner to her husband, Eugenio. Together they immigrated from Italy to Canada in 1960 and built a wonderful life.
On Wednesday, Anna passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 89 surrounded by family and her beloved caregiver, Carmelina.
She was predeceased in 2017 by her loving husband of 58 years, Eugenio.

I had a wonderful life.
Born on October 28, 1919 to Mary & Robert Robertson.
I was called the little one as being only 2 pounds. I had three siblings (Bob, Rhoda and Lois, all deceased). My dad died when I was 15 thus my Mother raised four kids.
Had a happy childhood even though we were poor.

After an all too brief and heroic struggle with cancer, Dee passed away on September 9, 2020.

PANICCIA, Domenico - On Wednesday, September 9th, Domenico passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, at the age of 84, surrounded by his entire family.
The world lost an amazing man who gave his whole heart to see others smile.
Domenico was a strong, kind, and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Domenico had a playful energy that filled the room. His warmth and sense of humour made you feel close and comforted by him.

He will now be reunited in heaven with his loving wife, Teresa.

HORN, Stephanie “Steph” Margaret - 33, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2020 with her mom and sister by her side, after 32 years of proving everyone wrong.
Steph was quite possibly the best secret keeper in all of Ontario.
You could tell her anything and everything, but if she got bored of you going on and on, she’d let you know by falling asleep.
Or at least, by pretending to fall asleep. We always knew.
But we let her play her games.

ANDERSON, Lt. Col. William N., KSt.J CD KLH, - Bill died peacefully at Huron Hospice, on September 9, 2020.
Predeceased by his wife Betty Anderson (nee Kinsman), daughters, Margaret Anderson, Sue Munnoch and Sara Anderson.
He is mourned by his grandchildren, Kenneth Dow, Barbara Chicago and Victoria Munnoch; and great-grandchildren, Samantha Abel, Breanne and Mathew Chicago.
During WWII, Bill was a reinforcement officer, Captain William N. Anderson of the 96th Anti-Tank Battery and served in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.
Following the war, Captain Anderson returned to his home in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Clare passed peacefully at Shepherd Lodge in her 101st year, beloved wife of the late Robert K. Brayton (1974).
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Thompson (Stephen), Linda Rogers (Colin) and Sylvia Wallace (Leonard), as well as 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Clare will also be missed by her sister Barbara and brother Peter in England along with many nieces and nephews in Canada, USA, England and Australia.

TURNER, Edwin Arnold - Edwin Arnold Turner passed away at the age of 88 on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Brampton Civic Hospital.
Edwin was born on November 23, 1931 to parents Edgar and Gwendoline Turner. He was one of six children.
Edwin was a veteran of the British Army and served his country in the Korean war before choosing to emigrate to Canada in 1965. He was an active member in his community, volunteering much of his time with the church and the Knights of Columbus. He was also a founding member of the Bramalea Cross-Sticks field hockey club.

NICASTRO, Giorgio - Nicastro peacefully passed away in the early morning of Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 at the age of 85 at his Scarborough home.
He was born in Ispicia, Italy and moved to Belgium when he was 15 in 1949 with his family and worked in the mines.
He came to Canada in 1956 and soon after his loving wife of 63 years Corradina Nicastro (Corsico) moved to Canada where they were married and started a great life together and had two sons.
He will be forever missed by his wife Corradina, his two sons, Ignazio and his wife Tina and Antonino and his wife Marcelle.

FREMEAU, Patrick Kevin - (1938 - 2020) - On the morning of September 8, 2020 heaven gained an angel, Patrick Kevin Fremeau.
Father of Julia Ann Fremeau, brother of Jayne Aitken, best friend and previous spouse of Heather Ann MacVicar.
Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Agnes, brother Raymond, sister Gayle Fremeau and best friend Wayne O'Reilly.
Pat will forever be remembered as a guidance counsellor and high school teacher and for his gentle ability to guide many individuals to become the best versions of themselves.
