COOPER, Carolyn Jane - Passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 22, 2020, at the age of 63.
Dear aunt of Sandi Buscarini (Michael), Ryan Cooper, and Kelly Baetz-King (Bill).
Predeceased by her parents, Carol and Dorothy Cooper, and her brother Dale Cooper. Beloved "Gr"Auntie Carolyn to Ty, Donovan, Ashley, Brad, Noah, Gregory, Claire, Elijah and Gabriel.
She will also be missed by sisters-in-law, Judie and Diane, extended niece, Tammy Cooper, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

GREENFIELD, Anne (nee REID) - July 30, 1916 - May 22, 2020
Anne Greenfield passed away peacefully, two months shy of her 104th birthday.
She is survived and remembered with love by her children, Joan, John, Val, son-in-law Jim and brother John "Jack" Reid.
She adored her grandchildren, Jennifer, Lauren (Ryan), Daniel (EmmyLou), Darren (Amy) and Ryan (Annika) and her 5 great-grandchildren brought such joy in the last years of her life.
Auntie Anne was loved by her nieces and nephews and she was "Mother Greens" to many family friends. Predeceased by husband William "Bill", parents, Agnes and Stuart Reid, sister Clara (Bill), brother James, daughter-in-law Betty and sister-in-law Dorothy.

HOOI, Weng Yup "Peter" - Our beloved Weng Yup "Peter" Hooi left us peacefully on May 22, 2020.
After a blessed and extraordinary life of 101 years, he joins his late wife of 70 years, Siew Yoke Thoe, in heaven.
Peter emigrated from Malaysia to Toronto in 1976 and devoted each and every day to taking care of his three children and seven grandchildren.
He will be lovingly remembered for his quiet spirit and generosity; his love of children and food; his self-taught poetry and music-making; his letter-writing and journalling (in English and Chinese!); his razor-sharp memory; his fierce independence; and his tenacious home improvement projects.

HANDS, Thomas James - It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Thomas James Hands, a dearly loved husband, dad and grandpa.
Tom passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020, at the age of 89.
Tom was the beloved son of Jean Hands (nee Young) and Charles Hands. Dear brother of Richard Hands (Marie) and predeceased by his brother, Charles Hands.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Amelia and his son Tom Hands Jr. and daughter Susan Baines (John).
A doting grandpa to Lauren Baines and Peter Coultas.

LOY, Barbara A. (Ruby) - With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved sister, Ruby, in her 90th year, on Friday, May 22, 2020.

Ruby lived in Guyana and fulfilled her desire to travel abroad landing in New York, USA, where she worked at the United Nations until she retired.
Ruby loved singing, the highlight of which was touring Europe with the UN Choir.

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ruth, on May 22, 2020.
The love of her life, Karl, was by her side as he had been for 79 years.
Earlier in the evening, she had her whole family around her, which was all she ever wanted.
She was born in Graz, Austria, to Alfred Schifko and Hildegard Gregor?i?. She met Karl in 1941 and they were married on November 16, 1945.
They immigrated to Canada in 1951 and settled in Toronto.

Passed away peacefully at Fountain View nursing home with her beloved son, Jeffrey, by her side.
Born in Montreal to Charles and Marie Westover (nee Harrington), Susan grew up and attended school in the Montreal suburb of Lachine.
After completing high school, she trained as a hairdresser.
Her unique talent and business savvy soon led her to co-own a successful hair salon in her home town, before relocating to Toronto in 1975, where she became the sole owner of another successful salon.

JOSEPH, Frances (nee Sachs) - We regret to announce the death on 27th Iyar, May 21st, 2020, at the age of 89, of Fayge Joseph (nee Sachs) at Hill House Hospice.
From a young girl of four siblings in Khust, Czechoslovakia, she survived the ghetto, and Auschwitz, along with her sister Shantze and brother Alter.
Immediately after the war, this nearly-16-year-old girl married Yossi, the yeshiva bocher. They fled to Austria when the Communists took over Czechoslovakia. They were originally hoping to go on Aliya to Israel, before actually arriving in Canada in 1951. They settled initially in Hamilton, where Janice and Susan were born, before moving to Toronto for the girls in 1972.
