Devoted father of Zachary; husband of Marni Hill; brother of Katherine Hansen, Irene (Douglas) Power, Helen (Bruce) Reynolds, and Victoria (Mark) Taylor.
Loving Uncle of Christy (Michael) Cross; Casey, Jocelyn, Adrien and Nicholas Reynolds; Evan and Ryan Taylor; Joe (Libby) Hill; Patricia (Jordan) Twinney; Hayley Bredt; John Lee Hill; and great-uncle to Mackenzie and Victoria Cross; Oscar Reynolds; Ty and Jordan Hill.
After graduating from the University of Toronto, Vic entered the insurance industry where he worked for over 30 years.

DOTTERILL, Christopher - On Saturday, November 26th, Chris Dotterill passed away peacefully at the age of 81, after a long and determined fight with the effects from Parkinson's.
Chris was a well-known and respected land surveyor, a kind person and companion who will be missed by Samantha Beaupre his spouse for over 30 years.

McAFEE, George Weldon - Passed away in Toronto, on November 26, 2022, at the age of 97.
Predeceased by his wife, Rachael, George was the beloved father of Ian, of Gabriola Island and Leslie (Greg Cooper).
Grandfather to Garett Cooper.
Born in Prince Rupert, BC, George came east when he joined the CBC in the 1950s.
Starting out in the accounting department, he eventually found his niche as a unit manager in the Arts and Science department.
His years working on The Nature of Things gave him an opportunity to see much of the world, including the Galapagos Islands, at a time when they were relatively untouched.

JANISSE, Laurence David - December 2, 1942 to November 26, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laurence "Larry" David Janisse, who is now at peace, after a long battle with MS.
He was the beloved husband of Alice; the caring father of Marcel (Kira), Matthew (Joanna) and Aimee (Mark); and was truly fortunate to see 6 grandchildren come into his life.
Larry is also survived by three of his four siblings: Helen, Antoinette, and Lucy.
Predeceased is his brother, Edgar, who is not to be forgotten.
Larry's kind and warm personality, quick humour and wisdom will be truly missed.
His family would like to express extreme gratitude for all the support and well wishes.

ROBERTSON, Jordon Barclay - September 23, 1977 - November 25, 2022
It is with broken hearts and great sadness that the family is announcing the sudden passing of Jordon Robertson, in his 45th year, following a courageous battle with pneumonia and COVID.
Jordon was born and raised in Etobicoke, attending Richview Collegiate and Humber College.
He enjoyed a career first in hospitality at the Hyatt Hotel, then transitioning to real estate with Keller Williams.
This suited Jordon's insatiable desire to explore city neighbourhoods and to interact with a wide and ever-changing cross-section of people.
Jordon's passions included sports, cycling distant trails along the waterfront and beyond, jogging through local parks and far-flung city streets, enthusiastically working out at the gym and golf games with friends.

MAIR, Alexander C.M., - September 29, 1940 - November 25, 2022
Al passed away peacefully, at the age of 82, at Sunnybrook Hospital surrounded by loved ones after a recent cancer diagnosis.
The son of the late Donald Mair and Florence Lillian May Brobyn, he was predeceased by half-sisters, Marion LeBlanc and Jean Cowen.
He is survived by his son, Sebastian, his wife, Miho and their daughter Sophie; daughter, Jennifer; his partner, Guiling Han and her daughter Rachel; his sister, Lillian Richards; his former wife, Virginia Mair; and several cousins, nieces and nephews, including William Moore and Cathie LeBlanc.
Coming of age in his beloved Toronto during the birth of rock 'n' roll led Al to an illustrious career in the music industry, from working at record stores and local dances, to becoming the business manager for Gordon Lightfoot, and to the founding of Attic Records in 1974 with Tom Williams, which became the most successful independent record company in Canadian history.

SQUIRES, Stanley Keith - 1928 - 2022 Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Keith fought a long battle with dementia.
He was born in East York and was the youngest of three siblings; sister, Alice Godley; and brother, Douglas Squires, both of whom predeceased him.
Keith dedicated his life to growing perennial plants (about 5 to 6 thousand different species and varieties).
He owned and operated Country Squires Garden for 74 years.
He was also a member of the Canadian Old Time Square Dance Callers Association for over 70 years.

Herb, a Montreal native and longtime teacher with the Toronto Catholic District School Board, passed away peacefully, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Herb was a caring husband, brother, father, and grandfather, who approached life with a deep faith and an innate quiet strength that endeared him to those whose lives he touched.
