Born August 21, 1923 in Rosiejow, Pinzow, Poland, Helen immigrated to Canada at the age of 7 with her mother Agnes and two of her sisters, Sophie and Laura, to join her father Walter Adamcyzk who had preceded them to this country by two years.

Lived a life full of Love, Laughter and Fun! Joy passed away peacefully in the season she loved so much - Christmas.
Joy leaves behind her "Buddy" and partner of 61 years - Doug, the love of her life. Our Beautiful Mother and Granny will be lovingly remembered by son Douglas (Lynda), daugher Diana and cherished grandchildren Andrew and Dawn.
We will always remember her smile, her laughter and her sheer joy of life.
