TYERS, John Cartmell - March 4, 1938 - October 27, 2017
Peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017 in his 80th year, John passed away in the care of his loving wife and son.
Beloved husband of Barbara (Ross) for 58 years.
Proud, devoted father and father-in-law to John Campbell (Cam) and Martha.
Special Grandpa to Kyle Matthew, Corey Alexandra and Maya Mai Anh Tyers.
Caring brother-in-law of Garnet and Irene Ross. Dear uncle of Leslie and Bruno Zambri of Brampton and Rob and Heather Ross of Kanata.
Great-uncle of Jacob, Charlotte and Cooper. Dearly loved son of the late Harold and Dorothy Tyers, John spent his childhood living in the Village of Islington. His was a life well lived.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., on Thursday, November 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11 o'clock.
In memory of John, donations made to Dorothy Ley Hospice or Sleeping Children Around the World would be appreciated.

DILLON, William (Bill) Murray - 78 years, peacefully passed away on October 27, 2017 at Elm Grove Living Centre, Toronto after a lengthy struggle with Schizophrenia.
Prior to his declining health, Bill enjoyed life in Toronto as a Commercial Electrical Designer and was a valued member of the Toronto area Amateur Radio community.

GREENE, Reverend Canon Robert, S. H. SSC, - January 14, 1923 – October 16, 2017
On October 16, 2017, the Rev. Canon Robert S. H. Greene of Calgary passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 94 years with his beloved wife Marion by his side.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, on January 14, 1923, he served in a tank crew with Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) and fought in Italy, France, Belgium, Germany and the liberation of Holland.
His wartime experience and devout faith led him to pursue a calling as a priest in the Anglican Church. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Licentiate in Theology from Trinity College, Toronto and subsequently his Bachelor of Sacred Theology.

Predeceased by her husband Pieter and son Peter (Kim nee Gray) Johannisse.
She is survived by her brother Harold (Ann) Bens. Johanna will be fondly remembered and deep missed by her nephew Brian (Julie), their children Noah, Emily, Carter, family and friends.
Retired from General Motors, she was also a past Director of the Fernie Home and President for two terms of the local chapter of Amnesty International.
