CVETKOVSKI, Cvetan - Cvetan Cvetkovski passed away peacefully on May 18th, 2021.
Cvetan was born in Macedonia on July 7th, 1947 in Crneec, Bitola, Macedonia. His mother was Ristena Radevski and his father Velimir Naumovski. He has a brother, Vlado Kolevski and a sister, Vasa Rzanikovska.
He came to Canada back in the 70s and finished his engineering degree at University of Toronto. He went back to Macedonia in 1977 and he married Dobrila Cvetkovska (Begova) and they lived together for 44 years. His career began at ‘Mlaz Bogdanci’ as an engineer and later on as a programmer analyst. In 1996 he continued his career in Canada as a programmer analyst and has lived with his family here ever since.

ZHANG, Mrs. Jingbin - (April 7, 1933 – May 18, 2021) - On May 18, 2021, Jingbin Zhang, loving wife and mother of three children peacefully passed away at the age of 88.
She was predeceased by her parents and in-laws and is survived by her: husband Bingyan Tao; son Ningsheng Tao (Ya Tao); daughters Suping Tao and Leeping Tao (Roger Wells); grandchildren John Tao, Wendy Zhou, Peter Tao, Joanna Tao; and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Jingbin was born on April 7, 1933, in Shandong China. She was beautiful, smart, honest, and hard-working. She treated everyone kindly and fairly, particularly those less fortunate than her. Despite a difficult life experiencing many cultural shifts in China, she protected her family through harsh conditions and was a university professor until her first retirement. Many students still view her as a role model and mentor.
Jingbin came to North America in 1988, and overcame significant barriers to establish a second career as a health care worker devoted to those with physical disabilities until her second retirement in 2005. Her clients always spoke highly of her care.
Jingbin had a passion for the arts, painting, music (especially Beijing Opera), and poetry. She was a devout Catholic with many brothers and sisters of the faith. She was known to always put others first and she did not wish her family or friends to feel sad or endure hardships on her behalf. She will always be remembered dearly in our hearts and deeply missed.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only immediate family members will attend the service at Ogden Funeral Home on June 1st, from 9am – 11am. The burial will take place at 11:30am at Pine Hills Cemetery.

BILECKI, Carrie (Greenwood) - 1924-2021 - Carrie passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Scarborough Retirement Residence in her 98th year.
Carrie, beloved wife of the late Frank Bilecki, will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all of her nieces, nephews and extended family.
Orphaned at a young age with her siblings, she became fiercely independent and self-sufficient.
She purchased her first home by herself where she resided independently until her 95th year.

DUBEAU, Lorne Morris - 1928 - 2021 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lorne, who died peacefully on May 18, 2021, one day after his 93rd birthday.
Lorne will be dearly missed by Rita, his wife of 74 years.
Born in Penetanguishene, May 17, 1928, he was the last surviving child of 12 siblings.
At a young age, he moved to Toronto and prospered.
He met Rita while working at St. Mike's Hospital, as paper boy; they fell in love and at a young age were married.
Together they had nine children, losing 2 as babies and raising 7. Their oldest child Carol Anne passed away earlier this year.

FONG, Lai Fong - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lai Fong Fong on May 18, 2021 in Richmond Hill, Ontario at the age of 92.
Lai Fong was predeceased by her husband, Lan Yuk Fong, in 1999 and daughter Faye Chow.
Lai Fong is survived by her brothers, Man Tin Kwan (Richmond Hill) and Hoi Quan (Winnipeg), sisters, Li Juan (Vancouver) and Li Lian (China), her children Hing Hin Fong (Jenny), Chi (Wanda), Bik Yuk, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose born to parents Maria Flores and Juanito Antoque on November 23, 1933 on a small coastal town of Toboso, Negros Occidental, Philippines. She is the oldest of three girls.
Rose or Rosing, as she is fondly called by her friends and relatives, spent her early education in a small town and went to a boarding school during her teens.

HAMEL, Yvette (nee LEBLANC) - Passed away peacefully, in Burlington on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Guy Hamel for 59 years. Loving mother of Suzanne (Tom Reilly), Louise (Jim Stacy), Marc (Patricia Ciprietti), Michelle (Kevin Hinchey), and Paul (Ruth Anne Creighton).
Born in St. Anselme, NB, she studied to be a nurse and was an accounting administrator at Sears and owner of a window manufacturing company.
She was an active community volunteer and longtime resident of Mississauga. Proud Mèmère of Adrian, Blake, Jasmine, Emily, Zachary, J. T., Nicole, Hannah, Hayley, Gabrielle, Luc, Natalie and Matthew.
Cherished great-grandmother of four. Dear sister of Germaine Goguen (George) and Lucille LeBlanc; and sister-in-law of Roger and Louise Hamel. Yvette's strong presence and wit will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

MULCAHY, Lucille Dorothy - Lucille Dorothy Mulcahy, otherwise known as "Sue", was born on March 14, 1921, in Orillia.
She lived all of her life in Orillia and was such an inspiration to so many.
Sue went from being a receptionist/typist to running her own real estate and insurance company from 1972 until her retirement in 1997.
After being an advisor for women's employment at the Orillia National Employment Service office, Sue joined the family real estate and insurance business with her father in 1954.
She took the business over on her father's death in 1972.
Sue was the first female insurance broker in Orillia and one of the first female real estate agents in Orillia. She became the first female president of the Orillia and District Real Estate Board in 1968. Sue was a member of Orillia town council in 1963 and 1964.

PANAVAS, Regina (Gina) (nee STANAITIS) - Regina (Gina) Panavas, born November 3, 1955.
Gina died peacefully at home in the loving embrace of her husband, Mik Panavas, and her three children Alisha, Alex, and Jake.
Gina was a longtime Hamilton resident, attending Cathedral High School and McMaster University.
She fell in love with her husband of 41 years, first living with him in Winnipeg.
Gina then transitioned from businessperson to devoted mother 4 years later, returning to Hamilton where she raised three beautiful children.

Bill was a hard-working man with immense generosity and high ambition.

PARK, Jong-Kap (John) - Jong-Kap (John) Park passed away peacefully at Hospice in Leamington on May 18, 2021 from lung cancer.
John was born in North Korea in 1942, escaped to South Korea, and immigrated to Toronto in the late 1960's.
Within a year, he became Foreman at Domglas in Brampton and started dating the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen, Kyung-Ja (Kay).
John had a fearless entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic.
From Becker's in downtown Toronto, to Allan Gardens Grocery, a flower shop in Kensington Market, Finesse Cleaners, and Cornerstone Cafe (formerly Palm Trees Donut Cafe) in Guildwood, John's final labour of love.

ALEXIOU, Nicolas 'Nick' - Nicolas (Nick) Alexiou, born June 15, 1928 in Armensko, Greece, passed away on May 17, 2021 after a short illness at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto.
Loving and much-loved father to Sophie, Eileen and Nickey (James Housego), Nick led a long and eventful life thanks to his curiosity, his tenacity and his incredible spirit.
Predeceased by his wife Eleny, his brother Angelo and his parents George and Maria, his love and memory of them never wavered.
