STAMMERS, Margaret Lillian  - Margaret Lillian Stammers of Wasaga Beach, predeceased by Albert Stammers, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2018 at the Stayner Care Centre in Stayner, ON at the age of 92 years old.

Proud Mother to late Allan (Diane), late Larry, Sharon, Wayne (Lynda), late Frank, late Debbie, Brenda (John), late Edward (Ted), Brian (Susan), stepmom to late Nib, late Dave (Barbara) and late John.

Proud Grandmother (otherwise known as Nanny) to Kelly (Mark), Kim (Steve), Kathy (Scott), Korry, Bridget, George, Steve (Trish), John (Samantha), Andrew (Victoria), Michael, Garry (Liza) and Jad.

Great-Grandmother of 11 grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandmother of 9 all of which she carried in heart and was deeply loved. Beloved Aunt to Eddie (Linda), Susan (William), Cheryl (Brian), Gail, George and her heartfelt cousin Herbert.

Predeceased siblings Violet, Harry, Audrey, George and Gloria.

Margaret was a loving mother and known as a protector of children as Peel Regional Police crossing guard for over 11 years in the Clarkson area.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the caring and loving staff of the Stayner Care Centre and Dr. Recoskie.

A memorial service will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale on Saturday, October 13 at 1 p.m. followed by Interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army, Covenant House or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
