WILSON, Frederick Charles Ecroyd - I'm on Island Time Fred Wilson passed away peacefully September 28, 2018 at the age of 72, with family at his side.
He is predeceased by his parents George and Daphne and his sister Christine.
Beloved husband of Debby and dear father of Andrew and Christopher.
He will be deeply missed by his sister-in-law Christine Wong (Rob) and niece Sarah (Gorden) and the extended Wright family.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Fred lived in various countries in the Caribbean until immigrating to Montreal in 1960, subsequently relocating to Toronto in the mid-70s.
He worked in the field of Information Technology for his entire career, witnessing the evolution of technology from the birth of the personal computer right through to today's Smartphone.
The family would like to thank the incredible staff in the 2C Cardiology Wing at Mississauga Trillium Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Fred's Life will be held on October 28th.
