NEGLIA, Rena - Rena passed away peacefully at home at the age of 97 on October 14, 2018.
She was born of Italian immigrant parents and grew up in Toronto’s west end. She was an accomplished seamstress who kept her kids in style. Rena was a proud and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry Neglia, and leaves behind her children Doreen (Joe), Victor(Bonnie), Linda (David), Joanne (Frank) and Marian (Willy), grandchildren Marie (Gabriel), Ricky (Melanie), Franc and Russell, and great-grandchildren Matthew, Taylor, Gabrielle, Marcus, and Ava.
Rena was predeceased by her siblings Dina Gaggi (Joe), Pamelina Gentili (Alessandro), Yolanda Lato (Ben), Orlando Fiorelli (Helen), and Luciano Fiorelli (Ann), and is survived by her sister in-law Rose Dockstader and her brother in-law Joe Neglia (Mima). She will be greatly missed.
Visitation at Jerrett funeral home, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto on October 18th from 5 - 8pm, and on October 19th from 2- 4pm and 7 - 9pm. The funeral service will be held on October 20th at the funeral home, at 1:00 pm. Interment at Pine Hills cemetery.
