PIUNNO, Salvatore - God called Salvatore peacefully on Thursday October 18, 2018 at the age of 89.
He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Maria.
Cherished by his dear daughter’s, Lucia (Patrick Capobianco) and Serafina (John Biancucci). Proud Nonno to Tania (David), Diana (Derek), Vanessa, Stephanie (Mario) and Michael. Adoring great-grandfather to Brianna, Maya, Marcus, Emma and Olivia.
Salvatore will always be remembered by his brother, Giuseppe and his family. He is now reunited in heaven with his parents, Angelo and Lucia and his siblings.
He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Friday October 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 20, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7).
If so desired, donations in memory of Salvatore may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
