CHARALAMBOPOULOS, Demetre (Jim) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jim at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 88.
He was the devoted and beloved husband of Anna (née Kouretsos) for over 57 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Betty (Periklis Palantzas), Petroula, and Georgia/Genie (Ernesto Salva), and by his grandchildren William, Yianni, Zoe, Dimitri, Zachary, Violet, and Leonidas.
He will also be deeply missed by his brother John Haralampopoulos and many extended family and friends.
Jim is predeceased by his parents, George and Panagiota, and his three younger brothers.
Family and friends will be received at Elgin Mills cemetery & funeral centre, Richmond Hill, on Sunday, November 4th from 4-8 pm and on Monday, November 5th at 9:30 am. In accordance with Jim’s wishes, a celebration of his life will begin at 10 am.
