DAVEY, Isobel  - 1927 - 2018  Catherine Isobel Davey (nee Hart) died peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

A 50-year Don Mills resident, she leaves behind her children, Douglas (Liz), Ian (Jill) and Catherine and grandchildren, Keith (Kristen), Jeffrey, Caelan and Kendra.

Isobel was born on November 12, 1927 to Douglas and Alexandra Hart in Woodstock, Ontario.

She went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Home Economics from Victoria College at the University of Toronto.

She was predeceased by her sister, Marian Conn (late Dr. Alan Conn) and brother, Donald Hart (Donna). She has many nieces and nephews who will remember Isobel fondly.

A long-time volunteer for Gibson House, as well as the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society among many others, Isobel was awarded an Ontario Volunteer of the year award by the Lieutenant Governor. She was also honoured as a Volunteer of the year by the City of North York.

An avid gardener and birdwatcher, Isobel was passionate about the National Ballet of Canada and the Toronto Symphony, remaining a subscriber for each until the last year of her life.

The family would like to thank the staff at Revera Leaside for their kindness.

Private interment will take place in Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to your favourite charity would be appreciated.
