Lohnes ShelleyLOHNES, Shelley Lorraine - Passed away at home in Hamilton, Ontario on Monday May 6, 2019 at the age of 43.

She was born on January 7, 1976 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was raised in Toronto, Ontario where she attended St. Roch Elementary and St. Francis Xavier French Immersion. She later moved with her parents and younger brother and sister to Brampton, Ontario where she attended Our Lady of Peace Elementary School and St. Augustine Secondary School.

Shelley is survived by her parents Lorraine and Nelson Lohnes, her three children Shayla, Jaylen and Dante, her brother Graham and her sister Jessica. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

Growing up, Shelley attended Xoces-Eagles School of Gymnastics, The Margo Lane School of Television and Acting and horseback riding lessons held at Humber College. She took interest in modelling and attained her post-secondary diploma in travel and tourism. Her hobbies included swimming, bike riding and exercising at the gym.

She enjoyed her quality time spent with family and friends as well as attending sessions which help educate individuals with mental health and addictions. Shelley was an active member of Mary’s Place the Good Shepherd Center and The Bridge program of Hamilton.

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 5:00pm on Sunday May 12th at The Brampton Funeral Home, 10061 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm on Saturday May 18th at St. James the Apostle Church, 3 Cathedral Road, Brampton ON.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mary’s Place the Good Shepherd Centre, 20 Pearl Street North, Hamilton ON L8R 2Y8 or at www.goodshepherdcentres.ca. Donations can also be made to St. James the Apostle Church, 3 Cathedral Road, Brampton.

The Lohnes' family would like to thank everyone for their love and support of Shelley throughout her life.
