LANDRY, Marguerite May (nee McLeod)  -  (1918- 2019)  -  Passed away peacefully on July 21, 2019, with her loving family at her side, at the youthful age of 100, just five weeks shy of her 101st birthday.

Devoted wife of the late Albert William Landry (1995).

Beloved mother to Bob (Shery). Doting Grandma to Todd, Ryan (Isabel) and Katye.

Great-grandma 'G.G.' to Kristyn & Emily (their mother Meagan), Hudson (his father Rob), Jack and Ben. She will be greatly missed by her extended family members and friends.

Born in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, the second eldest of 10 kids, Rita, or Reet, as her friends and family affectionately called her, loved being outdoors.

She spent many years at their cottage in Catchacoma, she enjoyed fishing, skidooing and most importantly, never missing her beloved Blues Jays games on the radio. She attended her last game for her 90th birthday making it onto the Jumbotron. In her later years she found great friendships with her BINGO community and could hustle you out of all your pennies.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Bendale Acres for being so loving and kind to Rita in her final years.

Funeral service to be held on Tuesday July 30th at 11am at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Road. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Service, from 10am to 11am.

The family welcomes your love and thoughts, but kindly reminds you that no flowers or donations are requested.
