Ciardullo GiovanniCIARDULLO, Giovanni Giacinto - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of 86 year old Giovanni Giacinto Ciardullo of East York on August 7, 2019.

After two years of facing lung cancer he succumbed to his illness in the Michael Garron Hospital with his only daughter and son-in-law close by.

This was a scant 13 months after his beloved wife of some 64 years, Rosina, passed away in June of 2018.

Inseparable during their life together, our hearts are eased in the knowledge that Giovanni and Rosina are together again.

Giovanni was born in Domanico, Cosenza, Italy on October 31, 1932, to Fortunato Ciardullo and Maria Falzetti.

Along with Rosina, Giovanni was predeceased by his brother Antonio (Divina) and sister Maria Teresa Valori (Enrico). He is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Luigi Fiorino, grand-daughters, Cara and Dana, brothers Natale (AnnaMaria) and Mario (Lucia).

The family will receive friends at the Trull Funeral Home, 1111 Danforth Avenue, Toronto on Monday, August 12th at 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Brigid’s Church on 300 Wolverleigh Blvd, Toronto. Entombment will follow immediately after the mass at the Forest Lawn Mausoleum, 4570 Yonge St, Toronto ON M2N5L6.

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
