FAY, Charles Joseph - With profound sadness we announce the passing of our dear father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend in the early evening at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, August 11, 2019. He died peacefully at the age of 88 surrounded by his family.
Beloved husband of the late Elvina Fay (née Gonnella).
Much loved father of Margaret Blacquier (Brad) of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Ann Marie McGregor (Michael) of Courtice, Charles Fay of Whitby, Carolyn Farrell (Kevin) of Courtice.
Cherished Grandfather of Jeremy (Brianne), Calvin, Kyle, Ryan, Tyler, Kaylee and Shannon.
Great-Grandfather of Brady, Owen, Sadie and Jake.
Predeceased by his sisters Beattie, Ria and Ann.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, Whitby, on Thursday, August 15th 2019 from 7 – 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby on Friday, August 16th 2019 at 10:30am.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
