FOSTER, Harry - (August 14, 1943 - August 19, 2019) - We are sad to announce that Harry passed away at Scarborough General Hospital on August 19th, after a year-long battle with cancer.
He will be greatly missed by many, including his wife Marilyn and mom-in-law Helen McEvoy; beloved son Kevin, wife Emily, & cherished grandkids Ryan, Lauren, and Adam, plus extended Pugh/Larkin family; many good 'Old Friends' of 40 years; and all of the loyal & loving Clements Family who also have been his family for 46 years.
Special thanks to Jeff, who was devoted to him during his illness over the last year - no words can sufficiently convey our gratitude . Thank you also to doctors & staff at The Odette Cancer Centre who were always amazing and gave us that extra year of life, and also to Alison of VHA Home HealthCare palliative team for all her kindness & support.
Harry will be remembered for his sense of humour & funloving spirit. He liked a beer with the guys and enjoyed his Friday golf games with friend Jack. He was a good cook, a loyal husband, a loving Dad, Papa, and Uncle, and a kind & thoughtful friend. If success in life is measured by how many people smile when they remember you, Harry needn’t worry.
Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto, on Thursday, August 29th, from 10am to 11am, followed by Celebration of Life, at 11am.
