Pacheco MartaPACHECO, Marta Maria - March 28, 1946 - September 13, 2019 - Passed peacefully, after a one-year battle with cancer, surrounded by her family.

Marta, (nee Pimentel) formerly of San Miguel, Azores in her 73rd year.

Beloved wife of John Pacheco for 51 years.

Loving mother of 7 children: Emmanuel (Myra), Carmen, Teresa (Ashton Vaz), Grace (Paul Sousa), Paul (Jessica), Annie (Rui Oliveira) and Johnny (Michell).

Proud grandma of 9 grandchildren: Raymond, Jenalyn, Benjamin (Emmanuel); Mikael (Carmen); Anastasia (Teresa); Angelina, Noah (Annie); Liam & Aneesa (Johnny).

Daughter of Manuel Pimentel and Maria Tavares.

Dear sister of Manuel Vieira and Maria dos Anjos.

Loving cousin and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lee and the team at the Credit Valley Hospital Oncology Unit and Dr. Harild and the nurses at the Credit Valley Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their amazing care and support.

Friends will be received at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery, Brampton on Sunday, September 15th from 1:00-6:00 p.m, Prayers & Eulogy between 3pm and 4pm. Funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 101 Malta Ave., Brampton on Monday, September 16th at 9:30 a.m. Interment at the Brampton.

In memory, contributions to Our Lady of Fatima Church, Canadian Cancer Society or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated.
