PONCEANO, Maria José - God called Maria José peacefully on October 12, 2019 at the age of 94.
She is reunited in Heaven with her dear husband Antonio.
Loving mother of Maria Dos Milages (Verissimo), Maria De Lurdes (Fernando) and Guilhermina “Mina” (Peter).
Beloved grandmother of Steven, Lesley, Elizabeth, Stephanie and Amanda. Cherished great grandmother of Shawn, Andrew, Joshua, Justin, Anthony, Jase, Matthew and Evelynn. Beloved great-great grandmother of Mason.
She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will be held at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin St., north of Rogers Rd.) on Tuesday, October 15th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 16th, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church (706 Old Weston Road). Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane Street, Concord, Ontario).
