MAURO, Antonia Cioffi - (June 13, 1933 - October 14, 2019) - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Antonia Cioffi Mauro on Monday October 14, 2019 at Valleyview Residence.
The first of 3 children born to Filomena and Orazio Cioffi, Antonia joins her little sister Giuseppina. She is survived by younger sister, Giovanna(Gianni).
Antonia was born in Cervinara (Avellino) Italy and apprenticed as a seamstress. She was married to Alfredo Mauro for 35 years and was predeceased by him in 1990. Antonia is survived by her children Carlo, Rosanna and Orazio.
Her family brought her the greatest joy, especially her grandchildren, James (Amanda), John, Natalie, Matthew and Nicolas, and her great granddaughter Maia.
Visitation at Kane-Jerrett funeral home, 6191 Yonge St., Toronto on October 20th from 2 - 4pm and 6 - 9pm.
Funeral Mass at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 39 Green Lane, Thornhill on October 21st at 10:00 a.m.
