SWEETMAN, Douglas Arthur - (June 2, 1964 – October 16, 2019)
Suddenly passed away on Wednesday October 16th, 2019. At the age of 55 years old.
He was well loved by many and was known for making people laugh and being there for those he loved.
He will always be remembered and missed by his father, Harold. Predeceased by his mother, Eleanor. Loved and missed by his spouse, Elaine Ray and her children Michaela and Noah. His sister Deb and her husband Jeff Colgan. His niece and nephew, Angela and Phillip. And by his extend family and close friends.
Visitation and service will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave. Toronto, Ontario on Wednesday October 23rd. Visitation will be between 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Service will be held at 3:00pm.
I’d like the memory of me To be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow Of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo Whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times, Of bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, To dry before the sun, With all of the happy memories That I leave when my life is done.
