AIREY, Kenneth Goodwin - At age 85, of Aurora, Ontario. Passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Southlake Regional Health Centre surrounded by his loving family.
Born Saturday, March 3, 1934 to parents Percival and Emily Airey, Ken was the youngest of four children. A proud husband and father, Ken was the biggest cheerleader of his two children, niece and nephew. He could often be found at any event they were participating in, telling anyone who would listen how proud he was!
Ken was an avid sports fan. Baseball was his favourite sport closely followed by hockey.
Ken is survived by his wife of 45 years, his two children, 3 grandchildren, niece, nephew 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings and grandson.
Friends are invited to join us in celebrating Ken’s life Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Roadhouse & Rose funeral home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. with a service to follow in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Southlake Foundation in Ken’s honour.
