Warriner JackWARRINER John M. 'Jack' - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in his home at Parkview Village, Stouffville in his 92nd year.

Predeceased by Patricia his loving wife of 65 years (2017), his sister Laura Elsby (2004) and Great granddaughter Stella Payne (2014).

Dear Father of Valerie of Cumberland House, Sask, Michael (Collette) of Sunderland, Edward (Catherine) of Sunderland and Charles (Bonnie) of Stouffville.

Loved Grandfather of Luke Warriner (Erin), Nicole Baranowsky (Dave), Ruth Livingston (Micah), Jordan Warriner (Katie), Martha Payne(Phil), and Tara Warriner. 

Loving Poppa to Jackson, Aaron and Oliver Baranowsky. Grandpa Jack to Amelia and Blake Warriner, Landon, Natalie, Rachel and Declan Livingston and Audrey and Lincoln Payne.

Jack was born, May 6, 1928 to Harry and Maisie Warriner and lived on the McCowan Road farm for 55 years. He continued to farm well into his 80’s. Jack was active in Markham Fair, East York Plowman’s Association and Peaches Athletic Club. He also had a passion for travelling.

Jack will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour, his loyal friendship and gifts of tomatoes, corn and squash from his garden.

Visitation will be held at Dixon - Garland Funeral Home, Markham on November 13th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The service will take place at Markham Missionary Church. 5438 Major Mackenzie Drive E. Markham on November 14th at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Food Grains Bank would be greatly appreciated.
