Munroe PatriciaMUNROE, Patricia Audrey - (January 1, 1938November 7, 2019)

A graceful treasure, taken from us too soon.

Beloved Daughter of the late Gladys and Dennis Munroe; Beloved Mother of Susan Kerr; Beloved Sister of Yvonne Groot and the late Beulah Sewell; Beloved Sister-in-law of the late Jimmy Sewell and the late Albert Groot.

Beloved Grandmother of Mathew Brunning; Beloved Aunt of Ian Sewell, Albertus and Angelique Groot, Nikolas and Rani Groot and their children Isabel and Ariel; Beloved Cousin of an extended family in England, Europe and India. Beloved Friend to all who knew her, especially Michelle, Sheena, Pam, Aida, Thelma, Irineu, Sheila, Sib, Susan and Gerry.

Patricia died peacefully and was delivered home to the Lord on November 7, 2019 in the loving arms of her daughter, Susan, and her sister, Yvonne, while surrounded by her family at Mount Sinai Hospital at the age of 81.

After a long career spanning numerous roles and the continents of India, England and Canada, Pat enjoyed many retirement years during which she gave 12+years of her heart through community volunteering. Pat shared her laughter and irreverent wit when entertaining with family and friends and many visitors from abroad.

Cherished by all who knew her on both sides of the Atlantic, Pat made and kept friendships wherever she went. Pat was a professional dancer who loved the arts, especially dance and theatre. She was the most fabulous mum any child could ever dream; seeing novelty in the mundane and humour in everything. She cherished the music of life, living each outlandish moment to its fullest.

Above all, she enjoyed being with Susan, her daughter, family and friends, together creating memorable moments, especially during birthdays and the holidays. We all loved her. She leaves each of our hearts forever changed.

Pat did not want a visitation. The family is pleased to share with friends a FUNERAL MASS SERVICE in Pat’s honour to be held Wednesday, November 13th at 12:00pm at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 3170 St. Clair Ave. East, Scarborough, ON M1L 1V6. Reception to follow from 1 to 3pm the same day in the church basement.

FLOWERS: Can be sent no later than Tuesday, November 12th to Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C 1L3.
