ROSSI, Nicola - God called Nicola peacefully on November 12, 2019 at the age of 92.
He is now rejoined in heaven with his loving wife Concetta and his son Vince. Cherished by his daughters, Rose (Pasquale) Corvinelli and Anna Maria. Proud Nonno to Lisa, Carlo (Michella) and Mauro. Adoring great-grandfather to Thomas, Sabino and Mia.
Nicola will always be remembered by his sister Teresa (Guido) Giancola and reunited with his sisters, Antonietta, Marietta and Irma. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel (211 McNaughton Road East.) on Friday November 15, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7).
If so desired, donations in memory of Nicola may be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and or the SickKids Foundation.
