BRODIE, Robert Reid - April 26, 1922 - November 14, 2019 - Passed away peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the age of 97.
Robert was born on April 26, 1922 in Saltcoats, Scotland.
He bravely served as a Chief Petty Officer in the Royal British Navy, serving on the HMS Mauritius during WWII.
Survived by his loving wife Maria of 66 years and his cherished children Alan and Bill (Peggy).
Beloved grandfather of Taylor and Andrew.
Dear brother of Tom, John and predeceased by his two brothers Gilbert and Hugh.
Robert will be thoughtfully remembered by his family and friends.
Family will receive friends for visitation at Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, Toronto on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 12pm until Service time in the funeral home chapel at 1pm.
