MCKAY, Alex - (July 2, 1945 - November 30, 2019) -
It is with a broken heart that I tell you my husband died Saturday after a life full of learning, teaching and love.
He studied his language, Anishinaabemowin, Ojibwe Language, every day of his life and was dedicated to teaching it to anyone who showed interest and was willing to work at learning it.
He loved all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in his own special way.
Please gather with our family and friends to send him on his journey. Funeral will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto on Wednesday, December 4th, at 2pm.
