GIGGEY, Shirley 'June' - Shirley (June) Giggey, age 91, of Richmond Hill, Ontario, resident of Oak Ridges Retirement residence passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday December 3, 2019.
June was born January 18, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario to Norman A. & M. Rose Forster (nee King). She was also predeceased by her older siblings Murray (Irene) Forster, Frank (Ethel) Forster, Elizabeth (Bill) Lambert and Tom Forster. Dear sister in-law to Freda Forster and Charlie & Carole Giggey & Margaret Giggey.
Predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Vernon Giggey (2009), June was cherished by her daughters Sandra (Chris) Robson, Susan Townsend & Shelly and grandchildren Jennifer, Kaitlyn & Daniel.
Visitation for June will be held Monday, December 16th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, followed by a celebration of life from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Contributions in June's memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
