Smith SheilaSMITH, Sheila Joyce Smith - Age 83, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2019.

Sheila was born in London England and was the daughter of William and Bertha Smith (both predeceased). As a child she endured the bombings of WWII and with relatives in the RAF she gained an interest in aviation. She also had a deep love for animals and their welfare which she passed on to her children.

She moved to Canada in the 1950’s but proudly maintained her British passport throughout her life. Gardening was another passion of hers and her daughter is grateful that she inherited the same love for it.

She was a pioneer in the natural/health food realm well before it became fashionable and was always keeping up to date with frequent trips to the library and bookstore.

She was always very proud of her children and what they had accomplished and would boast about them whenever possible. She will be greatly missed by all of her family.

She is survived by her 4 children Ashley Kishino (Tammy), Thalia Webster (Alan), Barrett Kishino (Donna) and Andrew Kishino. Cherished grandmother of Jamie Hudson (Duane), Tabitha Dupuis (Kyle), Shane Manning, Tristen Kishino and Matthew Kishino and great grandmother to Elizabeth Diana Dupuis.

There will not be a funeral service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of the following in Sheila’s memory: Bandaged Paws bandagedpaws.org or

Wild At Heart Wildlife Refuge Centre wahrefugecentre.org.
